David’s style is easily adaptable for your event, from a black tie formal awards dinner, to charity fundraisers, golf days, matchday hosting and sportsman’s dinners.
Having been in the industry for over 15 years and has a real understanding of event hosting. Prior to any event he will work with the organiser to ensure that he is fully prepared. On the day of the event itself, David will arrive early and will put any event organiser at ease ahead of show time.
David’s ongoing career highlights include:
- 5 Seasons as a match day, hospitality compere at both Liverpool and Manchester United, hosting rooms of up to 800 guests and interviewing Club legends and guests
- Working alongside Sir Bradley Wiggins CBE as part of his UK theatre tour, conducting on stage interviews and hosting the live auction
- The 2024 Floodlight Entertainment, Liverpool FC Legends, tour of Ireland, with Steve McMahon, Ray Houghton and Ronnie Whelan. Taking place in 4 towns across 4 nights as event presenter and interviewer
- Over 5 years as a presenter on radio station 96.2 The Revolution. This included a variety of shows, including sports, evenings and as a stint as the host of the love songs show!
- Working alongside a Greater Manchester law firm to host forums and fireside chats with sporting and business world guests to an audience of clients and wider businesses.
- Hospitality host and compere for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup, including the Rugby League World Cup Final between Australia and New Zealand, plus games for England men and women.
- Working on theatre tours in venues up to 2,500 people for events with sporting legends, including the likes of Frank Bruno, Steve Davis, Stephen Hendry, Jeff Stelling, John Barnes, Paul Merson, Bryan Robson, Joe Calzaghe and more
- Raising over £450,000 for charities and good causes with live auction services at events.
- Hosting Christmas Light’s switch-on events in Rochdale and his home village of Delph
- Host of the annual Mayor of Tameside’s Gala Ball. This event see’s attendance from Government Minister’s , local Mayor’s and councillors and Tameside based dignitaries and businesses.
- Spending 11 years (and counting) as the host of Bust Rallies, events that take up to 90 cars across 7 European countries each year, with the finish line being the Grand Casino in Monte Carlo.
